Buying a Deer Valley condo: what to check

Which base, which building, and which unit. A Park City condo list is a different records.

Buying & sellingDeer Valley

Active condominiums are on Deer Valley condos for sale. This note is what to check before a tour: which base, which building, and which unit. Silver Lake, Snow Park, and Deer Valley East are different mornings. A Park City condo list is another records.

Deer Valley real estate that starts with a condo starts with the map, then the building, then the unit. Park City real estate still has to name which resort base the door serves. The hub is the Deer Valley real estate page.

Three bases, three condo lists

Upper Deer Valley is Silver Lake. Lower Deer Valley is Snow Park. East is its own base above the Jordanelle. The note that keeps Upper and Lower apart is Upper vs Lower Deer Valley. Empire Pass sits in the Upper records. The East Village note is separate.

  • Silver Lake. The condominium core is the village: Stein Eriksen Lodge, the Chateaux at Silver Lake, Stag Lodge, Sterling Lodge, the Inn at Silver Lake, and Goldener Hirsch. That list lives at /deer-valley-real-estate/upper-deer-valley/condos. Confirm the door you are touring, not the brochure for the next building.
  • Snow Park. Black Diamond Lodge, Trail’s End Lodge, Pine Inn, the Lodges at Deer Valley, Silver Baron Lodge, and Powder Run are the condominium names on /deer-valley-real-estate/lower-deer-valley/condos. A ski-in sentence has to survive a walk from that unit to the snow. A parking-loop morning is not a run-out morning.
  • Deer Valley East. Condos and village residences sit on /deer-valley-real-estate/east-deer-valley/condos. Mayflower Lakeside, Pioche, Velvaere, Galena, and Founders Place are different products inside that base. The East map is not Snow Park, and it is not Silver Lake.

Condo is not townhome

Attached and multi-level is often a townhome records. A lodge unit is a condo records. The photographs can both show a stair. The declaration for that address answers it. The longer product note is Deer Valley townhomes. Park City condos for sale still have to name the association, the rental rules, and what parking conveys.

Ski access is a door, not a resort name

Ski-in ski-out Park City homes are not one product, and Deer Valley does not inherit a slogan from the next building. A door onto snow, a stair to a lift, a path, a shuttle, or a drive are different mornings. Walk the route from the unit you are buying, in the season you will use it. The longer access note is ski-in ski-out Park City homes.

What to read before you write an offer

  • The declaration and resale certificate for that project. Dues, reserves, insurance, and rental rules are for that association. A neighboring lodge is not that certificate.
  • Parking. Ask what conveys: a deeded stall, an assigned space, or a shared lot. The answer does not travel building to building.
  • The week you will actually use. A Silver Lake dinner walk is not a Snow Park base morning, and East is a different drive.
