Three in-town Park City neighborhoods

Old Town, Park Meadows, and Prospector answer different weeks. The club map is a different purchase.

Buying & sellingPark City

Active single-family listings are on Park City homes for sale. This note is the three in-town neighborhoods that search still collapses into one list. Old Town, Park Meadows, and Prospector answer different weeks. A private club on the Wasatch Back is another purchase entirely. That note is Park City golf homes.

Park City real estate that starts in town begins with the neighborhood, then the product, then the door. A search for Park City luxury homes for sale can land here, or it can land at a club or a ski village. The club map does not choose the neighborhood. The basin index is the Park City real estate page.

Old Town

Old Town is the historic core. Main Street is the public room. The museum, the library, and dinner are the ordinary week when the lifts are not the point. The grade is part of the house. Two blocks uphill in January is not two blocks on the flat. Walk the route from the door, in the season you will use it.

Town Lift plaza is the resort’s access to Main Street. That sentence is the lift and the plaza. It is not every door in Old Town. Some houses are a short walk. Some are a climb, and some are a bus. A ski-in claim has to survive a walk from that door to the snow. The longer note is ski-in ski-out Park City homes.

Park Meadows

Park Meadows is in-town houses and condominiums. The school campus sits in the same city plan. Main Street is a drive from these lots, not the sidewalk at the door. A house and a condominium in the neighborhood are both Park Meadows. They are not the same showing, and they do not share one set of association rules.

Park Meadows Country Club is the in-town golf and social club. A house in the neighborhood is not a membership. Whether a buyer may join, and on what terms, is the club’s document. The municipal course is a different course, beside the neighborhood rather than inside it. The note that keeps the two stacks apart is Membership is not the deed.

Prospector

Prospector is east of Old Town, on the Rail Trail side. Prospector Square is the commercial room. The housing is houses and condominiums in a central neighborhood. It is not a private club, and it is not a resort gate. Main Street is west. The school campus is a short trip into Park Meadows, not a walk from these doors. The drive back to the historic core is a different week from a house already on that hill.

What this is not

Canyons Village is the other base of Park City Mountain, toward Kimball Junction from Old Town. It is a village of condominiums, townhomes, and houses. There is no private club to transfer with that deed. It is a different records from these three town neighborhoods.

Deer Valley is a different resort. Lower Deer Valley, at Snow Park, is the Deer Valley side closest to Main Street, and it is still not Old Town. A trail map does not move a resale certificate from one records to the other.

Wasatch Back club communities are the other purchase. Promontory, Glenwild, Tuhaye, Red Ledges, Victory Ranch, and Jeremy Ranch are not Old Town, Park Meadows, or Prospector. A golf week and a house in town can both be right. They are not the same deed. Start with Park City golf homes if the club is the week.

What to ask before a second showing

  • What is the product on this address: a house or a condominium?
  • What is the walk: to Main Street, or to the school campus? Walk it in the season you will use the house.
  • What do the documents for this address say about rentals? Read those. Do not borrow the rule from the next street.
  • Is a club even in scope? These three town neighborhoods are not a membership.

We do not publish a price index or an inventory count. Utah does not disclose a sold price, a closed price, or an assessed price, and this note does not print one. The cover is an aerial of Old Town and Main Street at dusk in winter. It is not a listing photo, and it is not a house for sale.
