What's your Old Town home worth?

Old Town is the historic core of Park City, on Main Street. The city's plan names Deer Valley Drive, Lower Old Town, Upper Old Town, and Rossi Hill. A mining-era cottage and a later infill house can share a block. They do not share a review path.

Historic-district review applies when the house is a designated site. A newer infill house on the same street is a different record. What may be changed is a question for that address. The streets are narrow and the lots are small.

Main Street is a walk with a grade. Two blocks uphill in January is not two blocks on the flat. Park City Mountain's town base sits against this neighborhood. The resort describes Town Lift Plaza as ski-in, ride-out access to Main Street. That sentence is about the lift and the plaza, not about every door. Some doors are a short walk. Some are a climb, and some are a bus.

Nightly rentals depend on the district. The plan allows them in Old Town residential areas except Lower Rossi Hill, which requires a conditional use permit, and except the Western Historic Residential Low-Density and McHenry sub-neighborhoods, where they are prohibited. A neighbor's rule is not this deed's rule.
