What to ask a Park City realtor

Questions for the first meeting, before a tour.

Buying & sellingPark City · Promontory · Talisker

The useful first meeting with a Park City realtor is not a recital of how long someone has worked. It is a check on whether the advisor will separate the house, the community rules, and the club or association. Melilli Davis Group is four advisors. The title on each card is Luxury Real Estate Advisor. The questions below are the ones we expect you to ask us.

Before a tour is booked

  • Which communities do you actually work, and which will you refer?
  • Will you show me the resale package, the rental rules, and any membership letter before we write?
  • Who is the listing agent, and whose interest are you representing on this house?
  • How do you want to be reached, and who answers if you are in a showing?

What we will not invent to win the meeting

We will not quote an award, or a dollar figure the FlexMLS export does not support. The production record is $447,978,846 across 306 unique MLS records, using last list price because Utah is a non-disclosure state. A closing is doubled only when that agent is explicitly on both sides. The homepage publishes $500M+ in sales and over 300+ properties closed. It is not a promise about your sale.

If you are comparing agents, ask each of them to walk one specific address — an active listing such as 8139 N Sunrise Loop, or a closed record such as 47 Red Cloud Trail — and see whether the answers stay attached to the records. Nick Melilli is at (954) 383-1478 and nick.melilli@bhhsutah.com. Marcie Davis is at (435) 602-9577 and marcie.davis@bhhsutah.com.

Written for this site by Melilli Davis Group. It is orientation, not a valuation and not a club policy. Where a sale is mentioned, Utah non-disclosure means last list price only.
